Psalm 139:16The loss of a grandmother, mother, sister , aunt and friend is not the easiest thing to overcome. But knowing she was a believer of Jesus Christ, I have a peace in my heart when
I write about my
" Laguna Grandma".
On August 7, 2010 , Francellene Marie Biane Roper, passed away of natural causes. The last days of her life were hard, emotional, and peaceful at the same time. She was the most fashionable, friendly woman I know.
We had a beautiful memorial service on August 20,2010, where all of her family, friends gathered to remember the fabulous woman that she was to all of us.
Per my grandmother's request, we went out to sea to scatter her ashes in Laguna Beach, CA.
We all met a down at the docs in Dana Point. We had the privileged to accompany a family friend and his wife ( Don and Judy Eckrote). They were the sweetest, most welcoming couple. It was like they were one of the family. They made us all feel so welcome and were very hospitable.

My grandma lived in Laguna about 12 years of her life. We all visited or vacationed there at some point in our lives so it couldn't have been a more perfect location.
The nautical cordanance exactly where we scattered her ashes.Right in frontage of "Treasure Island " ( currently The Montage)
